Scan to PDF: Doc Scanner | Effective date: June 2, 2026 | Developer: BelgaBen
This Privacy Policy describes how the application Scan to PDF: Doc Scanner ("the App") handles your information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this document.
The App does not access your camera in the background, does not record video, and does not upload any camera feed or captured image to any server.
The App operates entirely offline. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All scanned documents and generated PDF files are saved locally on your device only.
The App does not collect:
Documents you scan and PDF files you generate are stored locally on your device using standard Android file storage. The App does not have access to files outside its designated storage directory. You can delete any file at any time from within the App or via your device's file manager.
The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. This may include:
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by BelgaBen. Google's data practices are governed by their own privacy policy, available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy
For information on how Google uses data from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
The App uses Google ML Kit (Document Scanner) for document detection and scanning. ML Kit processes images entirely on-device and does not send image data to Google servers.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Since all document data remains on your device and is never transmitted to external servers, the security of your scanned documents depends on your device's own security settings (screen lock, encryption, etc.).
Since the App does not collect personal data on our servers, there is no user account or data profile to access, modify, or delete. You may delete any locally stored PDF at any time directly from the App.
Regarding advertising data collected by Google AdMob, you may opt out of personalized advertising at any time via your Android device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
