Live tournament data: The app retrieves real-time match results, scores, and group standings from our cloud database (Google Firestore). This data is read-only and contains no personal information about you — only public tournament information.

3. Permissions

The app may request the following Android permissions:

Internet access: To retrieve live match results, scores, and standings during the tournament.
Notifications: To send you optional reminders about matches you have predicted, only if you enable them in Settings.

These permissions are used solely for the features described and are never used to collect or transmit your personal data.

4. Third-Party Services

World Cup Bracket 2026 uses the following third-party services:

Google Firebase (Firestore, Remote Config): Used to deliver live tournament data and to remotely configure non-personal app parameters (such as ad display settings). Google AdMob: The app displays advertisements through Google AdMob (banner ads, interstitial ads, app open ads, and native ads). Since we do not collect personal data directly, the app is safe for use by minors with parental supervision. Advertising shown in the app is provided by Google AdMob and follows Google's family-safe advertising policies where applicable.

Because we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, you retain full control:

You can view, edit, and delete all your predictions directly in the app.
You can permanently delete all data by uninstalling the app.

7. Data Retention

The app is designed around the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament period. Local predictions remain on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its data manually. Live tournament data on our backend is maintained only for the duration of the tournament and may be removed afterward.
